Solitaire Clash and AviaGames created the Solitaire Clash Video Series Solitaire Without the Solitude as a three-part mockumentary that presents a playful and exaggerated look at how Solitaire evolved over time.
Rather than offering a traditional documentary or product walkthrough, the series relies on humor, cinematic pacing, and recognizable situations. Leo González anchors the project as a hyper-serious narrator who treats Solitaire’s past as if it were an epic historical saga, which highlights the contrast between old Solitaire and modern Solitaire Clash.
The first episode imagines Solitaire’s origins in a French prison, complete with dramatic pacing and absurd details. The second episode shifts into 90s office culture, referencing Windows Solitaire and the way the game became part of everyday work life. The final episode lands in a holiday family dinner, where Solitaire quietly becomes the escape from awkward silence and unresolved tension.
Directed by Amir Farhang, the series builds naturally from one episode to the next, reinforcing the same idea from different angles: Solitaire has always existed in moments of stillness, boredom, or discomfort. Solitaire Clash doesn’t erase that history—it builds on it by turning a traditionally solo experience into something more interactive and shared.
